Norderkeerk in Amsterdam.
A nice building by famous Dutch architect Hendrick de Keyser (17th century). I like the street lamp. Next time I'll pay more attention to the lamps of Amsterdam. There are countless different designs everywhere.

Philoslothy: Light the shape of your heart. There's no reflection in darkness. I'm aware of what moves me. It's the moths in my fur (a sloth-o-nyme). If you also want moths: turn on the light!

I've been to Amsterdam twice in my life. The first time was on my 18th birthday together with friends. At the time, I didn't notice much of the city. 🍻😩
The second time I traveled alone, that was last year.✌
I'm highly sensitive, meaning that sensory stimuli are perceived more intensively. This is a disorder that occurs in some people and is neither negative nor positive. It's just different. Beauty can put me into a frenzy. I was in high spirits in Amsterdam! 😍😍😍

The Waldspirale in Darmstadt, Germany. I always loved the philosophy of Hundertwasser. For the same reasons why I appreciate César Manrique (I'll tell another time). During my first two years of school (in Frankfurt), I drove past a kindergarten designed by Hundertwasser every day. "Why wasn't I in THIS kindergarten?" I always asked myself.

This picture shows me last summer when I spontaneously cycled to Darmstadt in the middle of the night. I arrived just in time for sunrise at the Waldspirale. In my opinion, all buildings should look more natural! This one contains 105 apartments and a parking garage. "Why don't I live there?" ...

The Epinayplatz in my hometown Oberursel this morning at 4 o'clock. It spontaneously started to snow extremely. ❄🌨

Of course, I also visited the Van Gogh Museum. Everyone loves Vincent! A wonderful museum, I spent several hours in it. Last year, when I was there in September, there was a special exhibition. It was intended to convey the world of perception of Van Gogh. It was very nice, but I couldn't convince this attempt. These sunflowers were part of this special exhibition. But I've reinterpreted it in color.

I wasn't constantly on the move in Amsterdam. I took the time to bring some of the impressions into my painting. I've been working on this image since February 2017. It's still not finished! The meaning of this painting is about freedom. The title is "Terrarium Snake and Monarch Butterfly". A vague impression of what my picture currently looks like, you'll find in my very first post. ✌

Amsterdam is full of discoveries.
Just stroll around or grab a bike! ✌

Last year I visited the only zoo for microbes in the world. Micropia! It's worth it! There should be a lot more such zoos, because these insights are fascinating! 👌🔎🔬
