On the way to the Islas Ballestas you also pass the Paracas Candelabra. The figure is 595 feet (181 meters) tall. It can be seen 12 miles at sea. Little is known about the origin. Nearby ceramics of the Paracas people were found. These were the previous culture before the Nazca culture, known for their giant geoglyphs in the desert.

The brown pelican of Paracas! In Paracas you can eat very fresh and tasty fish. This pelican knows exactly what I'm talking about.

On the beach of Paracas you have always seen this pelican. He's fed by the people so that he can serve as an attraction. It's not good for the environment to feed wild animals. Otherwise you can't blame the people. I think it was a brown pelican and not a Peruvian pelican.
