Sometimes in the Bommersheimer field, when the sun goes down, the fredociraptors can be seen feeding. There aren't many farmers specialised in free range farming. It's also not recommended!

The Sumatran tiger is the only surviving tiger population in the Sunda Islands, where the Bali and Javan tigers already extinct. The species is listed as "Critical Endangered" on the Red List. Zoos like the Frankfurt Zoological Garden try to breed them. The success is very important for the preservation. Since 2017, there is a new male. But he doesn't harmonize with the female. Therefore, it's necessary to exchange with other zoos to preserve this rare animal.

Sloth fur harbors a diverse ecosystem of insects and algae including some species which are exclusively found in sloth fur. They are living in symbiosis, each species benefits from the other. The sloth moth eats the algae, the algae lives from the moth feces. The algae supplements the sloth's nutrient-poor diet of leaves.
