The Seven Sleepers is a medieval legend about a group of youths who hid inside a cave outside the city of Ephesus around AD 250 to escape one of the Roman persecutions of Christians and emerged some 300 years later.

"The weather today will remain the same for seven more weeks."

It has a kernel of truth. From the end of June to the beginning of July, the weather conditions usually stabilize. Actually, the Seven Sleepers Day is on July 7th, if you transfer it to today's calendar. In southern Germany, where the rule seems to be originated, for the first week of July, it has an accuracy of about 70 percent.

Norderkeerk in Amsterdam.
A nice building by famous Dutch architect Hendrick de Keyser (17th century). I like the street lamp. Next time I'll pay more attention to the lamps of Amsterdam. There are countless different designs everywhere.

I've been to Amsterdam twice in my life. The first time was on my 18th birthday together with friends. At the time, I didn't notice much of the city. 🍻😩

Pedarius nudus peregrinatorum, "The Barefoot" or "The Nudepede", lives south of the Solms Park in the Kurt-Halbritter-Anlage. You always see the same animal as it's on its way to the Nidda river. It seems to like children, it carries a pacifier on his head. It also looks very saturated.
