⚖️ I am against any form of injustice - whether it concerns physical characteristics, psychological traits, gender, origin, religion, or interests. This is not just about social peace but also about fairness and the foundations of constructive coexistence. Aggressive rhetoric cannot be helpful, as it builds walls. Journalists must work responsibly to avoid reinforcing harmful narratives.

🎯 In addition to the rise of right-wing extremist forces, I am also frustrated by the dichotomous view of gender. It is not helpful to portray men as the root of all evil. If only about 1-2 % of men become violent, one cannot act as if men, in general, are incapable of resolving conflicts in a normal way. This aggressive rhetoric against men, in particular, demonstrates that the problem cannot lie solely with men. 20–30% of men have been violent at least once in their lives (e.g., in a fight, domestic violence, or in other situations). Most of these occurred at a young age and drunk.

📰 We are not incapable of talking about or regulating our emotions, but the way we are portrayed in the media might make us start believing that we are (gaslighting). Just because measurable differences exist in studies, they should not be taken out of context to demonize men!

🔎 Prejudices regarding empathy, in particular, are often distorted, even though the studies themselves emphasize their limited significance. It is about respect and decency. About objectivity in pursuit of a common goal!

🎣 Polarization generates attention, engagement, and ultimately profit - whether in the media, politics, or social networks. Clear enemy images make complex problems seem easier to understand and emotionalize the debate, which in turn leads to more clicks, higher ratings, or more votes.

🐾 The fatal thing is that such narratives often take on a life of their own. Once a group has been established as "guilty", every single misconduct from within that group is perceived disproportionately and reinforces the stereotype. At the same time, a dynamic emerges in which factual discussions become increasingly difficult because any contradiction is seen as "trivialization" or "taking sides" with the other group.

🤺 Male Violence? A Distorted Perspective!

Discussions about violent crime often highlight that about 93% of such offenses are committed by men, implying that "masculinity" is the core issue.

However, this ignores an important fact: about 0.3 to 1.4% of men actually commit violent crimes (🇩🇪). The vast majority of men are not violent offenders, making it misleading to link violence to masculinity itself.

🎯 Social Dynamics Matter More Than Gender

The real question is why a small percentage of men turn to violence. While testosterone may influence aggression, socialization plays a much greater role. Boys are often taught to be tough and independent, while emotional expression is discouraged. Violence is sometimes normalized through rough play, peer conflicts, or societal expectations.

However, social influences extend beyond men. Parents, caregivers, and broader societal structures shape early behaviors. Dysfunctional family dynamics, neglect, or emotional manipulation can contribute to violent tendencies, regardless of gender. Violence is less about being male and more about the environments that shape behavior.

⚖️ A Balanced Approach to Reducing Violence

To tackle violence effectively, we must move beyond gendered blame and address the root causes:

👪 Early emotional education to help boys and girls process anger constructively.

💑 Promoting healthy conflict resolution instead of normalizing aggression.

⚡️ Recognizing harmful behaviors across genders, not just “toxic masculinity”.

🌈 Challenging restrictive gender roles that reinforce destructive behaviors.

🔎 A meaningful discussion about violence must look at the bigger picture - social structures, upbringing, and cultural norms - not just statistics that fuel one-sided narratives.

-

😶 I have been violent myself. As a teenager I fought with boys my own age. I can remember five fights. Three of them were in a children's home. I also once hit my father in the face. As a child I was often hit by my mother, but never by my father. I have never hit a woman. My mother once asked my father to hit my older brother. He didn't.

🧠 People who are so focused on rationality that they fail to acknowledge their own emotions can miss important opportunities for self-reflection.

❤️‍🩹 When individuals mistake their feelings for objective logic, they risk avoiding accountability for their role in a situation.

👻 The real problem might be the way people, in general, avoid difficult conversations, whether through ghosting, blaming, or running away from emotional responsibility.

🌱🌱 Real growth happens when people face discomfort, acknowledge their emotions, and take responsibility for their part in conflicts.

🤷‍♂️ I wonder why people keep making seemingly critical statements, but as soon as an argument comes up that contradicts them or relativizes the statements, they can't discuss them. Instead, other measures are taken: silence, ignoring, aggression, escape.

👫 This applies to all genders, including those who regularly claim that they are able to deal with emotions so well.

🎯 I present my personal views publicly. There is the option to comment and people can write me messages. Sometimes my posts are seen by several thousand people. If I were afraid of that, I wouldn't do it. And I know that some of my views are controversial.

🤗 I would therefore like to point out again that I even offer an anonymous contact form on my website (megagroundsloth.de -> contact -> anonymous contact).

😶‍🌫️ This is specifically designed so that people who don't dare to criticize me directly can do so in this way.

🥱 However, most people don't do anything at all.

⚡️ I find that sad because I like being criticized.
⚡️ I love creative friction.

🌈 I know that no one is free from errors in thinking and that no one can completely keep their feelings out of their perception.

🙃 And sometimes - if not often - I want to deliberately provoke people so that they think. Being right all the time is less important than the exchange of ideas.

🐦‍🔥🔥🐣 I am like a phoenix that always rises from its own ashes.

I had lost 14 kg in body weight in about a year due to the emotional stress I was experiencing. I gained it back in less than a month.

I had communicated quite openly that I was going through a difficult time. As a man, however, you don't need to hope for any kind of emotional support.

That's also a good thing: You can't get comfortable in the role of victim.

On the one hand, it is claimed and expected that men should open up emotionally and learn to talk about difficulties. At the same time, it is proven time and again that as soon as men do this, they are ignored and dismissed as weak.

What a spectacle! 😉

One reason why many men plunge into self-destruction (alcohol, drugs, etc.) or use violence to "take control". I didn't do that. I dealt with it artistically, I informed myself, communicated and sought exchange. And then I made decisions and rebuilt myself.

I have proven that I am strong. But I have also proven what is unhealthy! Namely the "social" way we interact with one another.

One day I openly expressed my frustration in the stories because the behavior here hurt me. I even apologized for the reaction our toxic dynamic caused in me. Many people thought that was great.

It is interesting that an apology for an understandable reaction - without wanting to justify it - was met with so much approval, but almost nobody was interested in the causes. 😉

By doing so, people are signaling that they only want to see positive things from me, that vulnerability only applies if it affects them personally or promises some benefit. That the social idea in social networks has nothing to do with social responsibility and exchange, but actually only serves as a means of self-presentation and entertainment.

As soon as I present myself as strong here in a superficial way and visibly high interaction rates give people an indication of what they can and cannot like, everyone runs after me like drooling chickens.

Anyone who has even a basic understanding of who I am will also understand that this won't work with me.

Oops? Here I am, completely unexpected and unannounced! Because something is really bothering me right now! And I believe that it has its origins in the new right and anti-wokeness movement!

What's all this talk about frontal lobes lately? People who talk nonsense supposedly don't have any, people who are supposedly enlightened have fully developed them? It's actually pretty disgusting to talk like that. I have a congenitally dysfunctional frontal lobe and am above average intelligent.

I have come across this rhetoric far (!) too often lately! The fact is, intelligence, brain structure, or cognitive abilities have zero bearing on a person's worth or dignity!

It’s disgusting and deeply problematic to talk about intelligence or human worth in a way that dismisses or devalues people based on neurological differences!

The kind of language that reduces a person's value to their perceived intelligence, brain function, or "fitness" is disturbingly reminiscent of eugenic ideologies, including those promoted by the Nazis.

They notoriously propagated harmful ideas about "biological superiority" and used pseudoscience to justify dehumanizing entire groups of people based on traits like disability, neurodivergence, or perceived "deficiencies".

When people casually throw around terms about "fully developed frontal lobes" or use neuroscience as a way to belittle others, it can unintentionally echo those dangerous attitudes. It may not always be intentional, but it still reinforces the idea that some people are "better" or more "valuable" than others based on traits that aren’t within anyone's control.

This is why it's so important to reject such rhetoric. These kinds of comparisons don’t just stigmatize - they dehumanize, and that has real-world consequences for how people with disabilities or neurodivergence are treated. Everyone deserves to be valued for who they are, not judged against some arbitrary or reductive standard of worth.

Please do not share or support such rhetoric!

By the way, anyone who thinks a little would realize that woke is just a collective term that everyone has a different idea of!

Sloths are known for their extreme slowness and calmness, while ADHD is associated with hyperactivity, restlessness and impulsivity. The idea that an animal notorious for its laid-back lifestyle is suddenly agitated or overactive creates a comical discrepancy. I enjoy living out opposites and being unique. You could say I'm possibly the fastest sloth in town. In fact, I have the ADHD mixed type.

ADHD can be broken down as follows:

🦦 1. Predominantly Inattentive Type:

Often still referred to as ADD (though this is an outdated term).

Symptoms include difficulty sustaining attention, forgetfulness, and being easily distracted, often without hyperactive or impulsive behavior.

🐒 2. Predominantly Hyperactive-Impulsive Type:

Marked by excessive energy, restlessness, impulsivity, and difficulty sitting still or staying quiet.

🦥 3. Combined Type (Mixed ADHD):

This includes significant symptoms of both inattention and hyperactivity-impulsivity.

🎨 ADHD Combined Type means a person can experience both patterns simultaneously or in cycles. For instance:

👾 One moment, you might feel a burst of energy that makes you restless and impulsive. The next, you could find yourself daydreaming or struggling to follow through on tasks due to lack of focus.

👾 You may start a task with high energy but then lose track of details or find it hard to finish because your attention shifts elsewhere.

⭐️ Hyperactivity might mean you're full of energy and enthusiasm, helping you tackle challenges with gusto (even if it's sometimes hard to sit still).

⭐️ Inattention might look like zoning out, but it can also mean you're incredibly creative, with a mind that makes unexpected and original connections.

⭐️ Impulsivity might cause struggles with planning, but it can also make you adventurous and spontaneous, willing to dive into new experiences.

🌬🦥 Life is like a feather in the wind. But sometimes, even the wind takes a break. In these moments, mindfulness allows us to observe the forces that move us and recognize patterns we might otherwise miss.

🕊🪺 Bias is one such force. It often operates silently, shaping our thoughts, actions, and decisions without our conscious awareness. Mindfulness is the practice of pausing, noticing, and becoming aware of these influences. It’s not about judging ourselves for having biases—bias is a natural part of being human—but about noticing them so we can choose how to respond.

🌬🪽 But mindfulness is not a constant state, nor should it be. It’s part of an inner cycle that includes trust in yourself and your instincts. While mindfulness offers clarity, it also helps us recognize when to let go of overthinking and trust in our natural ability to navigate life. Constantly questioning every thought or feeling can lead to doubt or inaction. Instead, mindfulness works best as a tool we pick up when needed, complementing moments of intuition and self-reflection.

🌬🍃 By weaving mindfulness into this cycle, we create a balance—aware of biases when they arise but confident in our ability to move forward. We pause to notice, but then we act with trust in ourselves. This rhythm ensures that we are neither carried blindly by the wind nor held motionless by fear of misstep. Instead, we move deliberately, awake and anchored, yet always free to soar.

🦥🌞 Not even the sun does the same thing every year.

🌌 Some years it is higher, sometimes lower - sometimes more intense, sometimes less. What is usually too subtle to notice, the sun has shown us all this year with the colorful lights it painted in our sky.

I tried something similar.

❄️ It’s getting cold, and the first snowflakes are falling. Looking back, this year somehow feels like it lasted forever. It’s interesting, because I often feel the opposite—that time is racing. Yet now, it feels warm and soft, as if I’ve gained emotional distance from the events of a year ago. Even the memory of this summer feels like it belongs to a small eternity ago. So much has happened, and yet I’m often not even aware of it because life keeps pulling me forward.

It’s fascinating how time can feel both fleeting and expansive, depending on our perspective. In the midst of life’s events, time seems to rush by, leaving little room for reflection. But looking back, the emotional distance and layers of experience stretch and reshape time, making some moments feel like they belong to another lifetime.

Perhaps it’s this paradox—living forward but looking back—that defines our sense of time. Each season, each moment, becomes a layer: softening with distance but remaining an essential part of who we are. The warmth I feel now might come from the resilience and growth I’ve carried through this year. And as the snow falls, winter invites me to pause and honor what has passed, while quietly preparing for what’s to come.
